Overview:
Ready, Set, Go Green is a unique game designed to promote environmental habits through fun, everyday challenges. Unlike traditional games played in one sitting, this game unfolds over time, allowing players to incorporate eco-friendly practices into their lives at their own pace.
Objective:
The objective of the game is to complete actions on the cards to earn points and develop sustainable habits.
Game Format:
The game can be played solo, collaboratively, or in friendly competition.
Card Selection:
Players may shuffle the cards, select them in order, or pick them randomly—there's no wrong way to start!
Choose one card at a time to work on independently or as a group.
Timeframe:
Decide on a timeframe for completing challenges (daily, weekly, etc.). A suggested timeframe is weekly, as there are 52 cards—one for each week of the year.
Scoring:
Points are awarded based on the difficulty of the challenge. The leaves on the backs of the cards indicate the point value for each action; the more challenging the action, the more points earned.
There’s no single winner! Everyone benefits from completing challenges that positively impact the environment. If played competitively, players record points at the end of the game period to see who has made the most significant impact.
Wild Cards:
The game features a few wild cards, allowing players to introduce their own ideas and challenges on wild cards, and assign point values to these unique actions.
